About the Role & Our Growth Story

As a Functional Consultant at HighFlyer, you’ll be at the forefront of our expanding ERP practice in the ANZ and UK regions. Working alongside our experienced partners from New Zealand and Australia—who bring over 30 years of NetSuite consulting expertise—you’ll have an unprecedented opportunity to learn from industry veterans while mastering ERPNext implementations.

This role offers exceptional growth potential in our fast-expanding practice. We started our ERP offering in the ANZ region at the beginning of 2024 with just 3 clients for the entire year. However, as of June 2025, we have grown to a total of 10 clients including our first UK customer, and are currently looking at a pipeline of 30 potential new deals with an expected growth of at least 2 new clients per month, demonstrating the rapid growth and increasing popularity of our ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Functional Consultant, you will:

  • Requirements Analysis: Conduct client meetings across ANZ and UK markets to capture, analyze, and document detailed business requirements
  • Solution Design: Translate complex business needs into functional ERP specifications, focusing on core modules (buying, selling, manufacturing, stock management)
  • Implementation Leadership: Design and implement comprehensive ERPNext solutions aligned with business processes and regional compliance requirements
  • Client Training & Support: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing consultancy to optimize system functionality and user adoption
  • Project Management: Manage complete project lifecycle including timelines, deliverables, quality assurance, and client satisfaction
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with experienced ANZ partners and internal development teams to deliver world-class solutions
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and system performance in post-implementation environments

Core ERP Module Expertise:

  • Configure buying workflows, supplier management, and procurement processes
  • Implement sales processes, customer management, and order fulfillment systems
  • Design manufacturing operations including production planning and shop floor management
  • Optimize inventory control, warehouse operations, and stock valuation processes
  • Set up financial integration, reporting, and compliance frameworks for ANZ and UK markets

Required Qualifications

Experience & Skills:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on ERP consulting experience with platforms such as SAP, MS Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar enterprise systems
  • Proven track record in ERP implementation and optimization projects
  • Strong expertise in core business processes: buying, selling, manufacturing, and stock management
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles within ERP environments

Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to quickly master ERPNext through self-directed learning and documentation
  • Experience with business process analysis and requirements gathering
  • Project management and client consulting experience

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) - MANDATORY
  • Willingness to work across ANZ and UK time zones with rotational schedule
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in international team environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
  • Existing ERP certifications (SAP, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, etc.)
  • Previous consulting or technology services experience
  • Team leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential through team engagements, responsibilities, or extra-curricular activities
