SenseTronics: Agentic AI Training for Robotics Workflows

The brief

SenseTronics works in industrial robotics, where design work and operational processes need different kinds of support. HighFlyer was asked to deliver AI training that spoke to those actual workflows rather than a generic introduction to chat tools.

The training focused on two areas: agentic AI for CAD design and automation of administrative processes. Both are practical starting points for an engineering organisation, but they call for different approaches to human review, data access and implementation.

How we approached the training

We framed the sessions around the team’s own work. For CAD design, the discussion explored where AI agents could help with design tasks and where engineers should remain responsible for checking the output. For administrative work, we looked at repeatable steps that could be candidates for automation and the decisions that should stay with people.

The aim was to give the team a way to assess opportunities in context: what a workflow needs, which AI capabilities may fit, what information a system would need to see and how its work would be reviewed. That is the approach we use in all our bespoke AI training.

Why this work matters

Training is most useful when people can connect an idea to a task they recognise. SenseTronics’ sessions put agentic AI into the setting of engineering design and day-to-day operations, giving the team a practical basis for deciding where to explore further.
